What is HPBC 2.0?

HPBC 2.0 stands for Hybrid Passivation Back Contact cell technology (Generation 2), independently developed and named by LONGi. HPBC 2.0 continues the excellent genes of the HPBC 1.0 cell technology, based on a high-end BC technology platform, primarily characterised by the absence of grid lines on the front side . It is an innovative BC cell technology, based on a comprehensive optimisation of cell substrates, hybrid passivation, and process technologies. Its performance, reliability, and functionality have been significantly enhanced, showing a clear generational difference from the mainstream market’s general cells.
